Computec was appointed by NYSE to be their IT Solutions provider responsible for setting up all office technology systems in Japan and to work with the New York IT team to setup all systems for the Japan operations including being the lead to integrate these systems to Japan partner systems. Our Senior Project Manager and Engineering teams provided a full turnkey solution to the NYSE and Computec’s team formulated a precise highly detailed design, implementation, and testing project plan with a critical path deliverable that was presented to the New York technology team. Computec and the NYSE technology team then worked hand in hand to carefully formulate a fine- tuned project plan and each team was given their critical path deliverables and time-lines so that the project would be implemented and tested on-time without any issues. As the NYSE Euronext Exchange is a critical global market platform and state of the art-technology systems were being implemented in Japan, it was critical that all systems were fully tested and operational without any issues in Japan, US or for any of the other locations of the NYSE.
Through precise planning and execution with the NYSE technology team, the entire project was completed on schedule with all systems on-line and functioning properly and with no issues in Japan or globally. Computec has now supported the NYSE for more than 10 years since the initial project and the Computec team of engineers has worked together with the NYSE technology team implementing many upgrades and new systems in Japan including the complex and time sensitive integration with Euronext systems when the Exchanges combined.
